Participation in our 10-week Early Recovery Group is a transformative experience.
A 10-week Programme
Early Recovery Group
Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 10.30 – 12.30.
The group provides clients with a structured, supportive space to further explore the challenges faced reintegrating into family and work environment. Each week our sessions focus on a key topic such as triggers, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and building healthy routines. The group emphasises honesty, accountability and connection—critical elements in early recovery.
Through open discussions and guided activities, we provide a better understanding of addictive patterns and how they are fuelled by emotional pain, isolation, and avoidance. We also put into action practical strategies for managing cravings, setting boundaries, rebuilding relationships, and navigating difficult emotions without turning to addictive substances/behaviours.
One of the most valuable aspects of the group is the continued work on self-regulation and life-balance commenced during the residential treatment process. This includes developing a self-care routine, identifying support systems, and setting realistic goals. By the end of the 10 weeks, clients feel more empowered and equipped to face the daily challenges ahead. Early recovery is just the beginning, but this group provides a solid foundation on which to build a sober, meaningful life.
“Sharing with others who face similar family struggles helped me feel less alone and reduced the shame I carried.”

“The group gave me purpose, confidence to share honestly about my problems, and a sense of belonging. I always felt heard”.

“The group saved my life. I had a week or two after treatment that I felt extremely low and had thoughts of using but the group gave me the time to share how I was feeling, and the support was amazing. I will be forever grateful”.
